Animal Cruelty

Dear Editor,
My name is Audrey Lai and I am going to 5th grade. I am writing to you because I think animal testing is very wrong. Animal testing, to me, is horrible and I will tell you why.
Would you like it if you were tested on products not used yet? It could kill you. I do not think you would like it. Also, would you like it if you came out with a mutated leg or another eye, I don’t think so. Animals are getting killed for food already, so why should they still be killed. If you want to make new products, just test the products on a plant or the computer.
Animals have feelings just like us. It is also unfair because sometimes they want to be left alone. They don’t want to be tested on products. Would you like it if you were a animal and a person just picked you up and tested you on a product, I don’t think so. That is why animals should be left alone in peace because they have feelings. I just want to tell you.
I understand why you might think we should test products on them. Sometimes, animals overpopulate and you might think we should test products on them. Also, you might think it is easier to test on animals. It really isn’t fair.
This is why I am against animal testing. I, for a fact, think it is wrong.
